The Empire have been jamming away and gearing up for the show coming up on December 18th at DV8. They also have an interview on Tuesday with CJSR, the U of A radio station. It will be quite a treat, and I’m sure photos will be snapped of them, and later posted for your viewing pleasures.

Oct 30 2009 Halloween Bash

So….nothing went according to plan, however i’m pretty sure everyone had a great time ( I know I did!). Was a Halloween bash and we asked everybody to dress up. A lot of great costumes were on the sceen! Our friend Brit started the show doing an acoustic performance and was really good. She was followed by Pizzarrhea, they were differnt and had everybody there asking what was going on. After them, our boy K-blitz took the stage and ripped it up, energizing the crowd and hyping everyone up. Beyond Addiction took the stage next doing a great acoustic set as always! By the time we took the stage everybody was tired and drunk, but we still powered through it! I vow to never drink that much before a show again as I had a few mistakes, even though everyone said it was un-noticable. All in all, it was a great night but I’m pretty sure I speak for everyone in the band when I say I don’t ever want to play Brooklyn’s lounge again. It is a decent lounge, but they’re not really set up to have bands play there and the staff wasn’t co-operative either, good thing the drinks were cheep!
