Opening for Oscar

We played the taphouse in St.Albert opening for a band from Victoria called Oscar. There was maybe 30 people there (all our friends). We did a 45 min. set with 3 songs featuring Corvid Lorax. We were the first band to play there after the renovations they just completed.

Battle of the Bands

We played our first Battle of the bands, second show with Trev. We did the first half of our set under a solo project titled ‘Branded Oak’, did six songs and brought Corvid Lorax on stage to drop rhyms on the last two songs, the crowd got really hyped when he came on. The Empire took the stage to perform the second set, did alright, had sixty of our friends and family show up plus there was about eighty or so other people, mostly 16 or 17 years of age. All in all we were pretty happy with the show!
