The Empire have been jamming away and gearing up for the show coming up on December 18th at DV8. They also have an interview on Tuesday with CJSR, the U of A radio station. It will be quite a treat, and I’m sure photos will be snapped of them, and later posted for your viewing pleasures.

If You Wanna..

So Marc Emery came through town on July 9, 2009 during his farewell tour across Canada. After his speech downtown we headed to the city’s newest hemp store for an after party, believe it is called underground 420.

We were playing a few songs at the front of the store, when Marc came outside I called him over and explained that we had a song about him ‘If you wanna’. He called his wife Jodie outside with the camera and then we played two songs for them, the other being ‘As long as we’re loving it. All went well, It was a great honour to be able to perform the songs for him. Marc is a great man who took the time to talk to everybody and sign anything that they brought to sign.
